Jerry,
I can’t thank you enough for one of the best days I’ve had on the California Delta. You’re a true gentleman and one of the most knowledgeable fishermen I’ve ever spent time in the boat with, especially when it comes to knowing how to read the Delta’s finicky tides, the changing water color, choosing the correct technique, the right color baits to use, where the fish will be positioned in the current, you’ve got it all covered and your ready to share that with the others in the boat so they have an incredible day on the water.
We all know how great a fishery the Delta has become, but to catch a limit of 5 fish that tipped the scales at over 30 pounds, with a 10lb monsters o cap of the limit, that was truly amazing and far exceeded my wildest expectations. If I’m every approached by another fisherman looking to spend some quality time on the water with a world class guide, you’re the only guy that I would recommend, “Hands Down” for day of fishing they will remember for a life time.
Thanks for the awesome pictures and I really like the one of you and your two 7lb fish.( I don’t care what their scales said, those bad boys were both 7lbers. The Pic’s all turned out great and it’s so funny to see those big fish in a picture, they don’t look as big as they did on Sunday.
Anyway, I’ll look forward to seeing you up at New Melones in the fall for the State Championship and please feel free to call me when your ready to pre-fish so we can share a few ideas.
Best Regards,
