Here goes a great three day weekend and I didn’t get on the water. I usually get very concerned about other boaters on this Memorial Day weekend. This year it has been a lot of Little League Baseball. My youngest son Hunter is a nut over baseball and we just played five games in the last four days. I know I have had to turn down four or five guide trips this last month and I am sorry to those who have tried. I have my youngest and my only boy who is ten playing Little League Baseball and he love it. We play everyday when I get home and he plays in two leagues one being a traveling team. This Memorial Day Weekend we traveled and played a five games in a four day event and they walked away with the first place trophy. I am very proud of my son and his team. They are all nine and ten year olds who played their hearts out to win. It is real easy to just go fishing and not be home with your family. I know some of you at times would prefer that but not me. I am a father of four and each of my children are special to me. I will be back on the water in another week with my first trip on Clear Lake in about Four weeks. My last trip there the big fish was over six with some others that were right behind that one. Thank you all for your patience and I will see you all on the water soon. Keep close to your family they are all you have. God Bless,
