Shasta in November

Tim Dotson, a fellow member of CBAF and I went to Shasta pre fishing for our December 9th tournament. I can say that Lake Shasta and the hills all around it right now are the most beautiful hills I have ever seen. This time of year is just breath taking. Mt.Shasta has a white top and so does Mt. Lassen. The ducks and geese are in the air. Tim and I went up to prefish for an up and coming CBAF tournament. We arrived at Packers Bay only to find out there was three tournaments going out at the same time. Not to worry this lake is big. It fishes big. We ran in to a couple of the arms and found fish here and there. We came back in to see how the weights were. Ten pounds was the big weight of the day. The fish were caught on everything. Our first day we caught them on the bottom and our second day we got reaction fish. We caught ten pounds and big fish was about two and a half. Had a great time look forward to seeing everyone on the water.
