High water on the Delta

Wow high water on the Delta takes on a new meaning. Even with a one foot tide the water was high enough to get into areas you couldn’t with a one foot tide. That gave the fish places to go that they couldn’t before. My friend Ken Cassetteri had a good day on the water yesterday. We watched the Won Bass Pro Am guys going at it every where in Franks tract. We caught our fair share of fish in just a few areas and we were back on the dock by 12:00. We had a good day throwing spring baits in areas that in the past this time of year had success. Ken is getting ready for the FLW Everstart Series. Like everyone we found fish that hadn’t spawned and fish that have. The water color changed from place to place. The reaction bite was working well as was the Senko. We started with a five plus pound fish and caught others in the four to three pound range. We only had a few one pounders. It was a good time on the water.
