CBAF and Toys for the Troops

A good friend sent me some information about a toy drive. Well every year you read something about a Toy Drive all for some good cause. But the Toys for Troops really hit my Heart. I felt like I had to participate and do my share as an American, and as a father of four. I can’t imagine what my family would go through if I had died. As some of you know I am on the board of directors for the Christian Bass Angler Fellowship. A Christian bass fishing group who are trying to make a difference where we can with our fellow bass fishing community. I shared the Toys for the Troops drive with the CBAF Board of directors and they jumped right in. What a great cause. Everyone I am sharing this with wants to help in some way. CBAF said why not put on a bass tournament and Toy Drive So here you go. Please help make a difference in someones life. Shasta lake, Packers Bay Marina Dec. 9th 2006 Dec. 8th meet at Phil’s Propeller between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Entry $80.00 dollars a team plus toys. for more information on the tournament go to www.thecbaf.com There are many companies and organizations involved with this Toy Drive. The toys will be going to the children of the fallen soldiers men and women of the arm forces. The toys will go to a number of military bases all over California and Hawaii. The goal for this toy drive is to generate fifty thousand toys. To all those companies that would like to help out with this tournament we could use products. Anything you send would be very helpful in making this a great event and toy drive.
